MORETTI E MONTMARTRE
Il pittore è da sempre legato alla “Butte”: da oltre vent'anni ne dipinge scorci ad olio, acquerello, carboncino e sanguigna.  Scorci che rappresentano – egli dice – una visione contemporanea che val la pena di tramutare in opera pittorica.  Il rigoroso impianto del disegno con il quale affronta questa tematica non mitiga la freschezza pittorica ma anzi mostra attraverso le varie tecniche il valore e la capacità espressiva dell'artista. Così come le opere di ricostruzione storica lo affascinano nella meticolosa ricerca di un risultato, veritiero, che va “oltre la fotografia”.
Dipingere la “Butte Montmartre” affascinandone ogni angolo, ogni oggetto, creandone atmosfere tonali particolarissime valorizzandone i muri, i lastricati, avvertendone le mutazioni atmosferiche ….. un impegnativo lavoro che ha fatto conoscere ancor meglio la Place du Tertre, la Rue Norvins, il Moulin Rouge, la Rue de La Barre  ….” l'Ambiance Montmartroise” fuori Francia e in Italia.  Amare Montmartre è amare storicamente la Culla della Cultura Europea, egli è inoltre Presidente dell’Associazione Cavalieri per l'Europa. Nel 2022 è divenuto membro della Storica République de Montmartre che gli ha assegnato la nomina di “Ambassadeur de l'Onirique”. Anche per questo, lui, dovrà e potrà ancora dire e dare molto alla République de Montmartre.

Depuis toujours, le peintre est lié à la « Butte » : depuis plus que vingt ans, il en peint des coins qui représentent – dit-il – une vision contemporaine qu’il vaut la peine de transformer en œuvre picturale. La disposition rigoureuse du dessin avec laquelle il aborde ce sujet n’atténue pas la fraîcheur picturale, bien au contraire, elle montre la valeur et la capacité expressive de l’artiste à travers les différentes techniques. Tout comme les œuvres de reconstruction historique le fascinent dans la méticuleuse recherche d’un résultat, véridique, qui va « au-delà de la photographie ».Peindre la « Butte Montmartre » en charmant chaque coin, chaque objet, en créant des atmosphères tonales très particulières en mettant en valeur les murs, les pavés, en percevant les changements de temps…
Un travail exigeant qui a fait découvrir encore mieux la Place du Tertre, la Rue Norvins, le Moulin Rouge, la Rue de la Barre… « l’ambiance Montmartroise » hors de la France et en Italie. Aimer Montmartre signifie aimer historiquement le berceau de la Culture Européenne, il est en plus le Président de l’Association Chevaliers pour l’Europe. En 2022, il est devenu membre de la République Historique de Montmartre, qui lui a attribué la nomination de l’ Ambassadeur de l’Onirique. Pour cela aussi, il devra et pourra encore dire et donner beaucoup à la République de Montmartre. 

For more than twenty years the artist has been drawn to the “Butte” by painting views in oil, water-colour, charcoal and sanguine.  According to him these views give an excellent contemporary vision worthy of being transformed into pictorial art.  The very rigid system used in his drawing to depict this theme does not spoil the pictorial freshness, but instead shows through the various techniques the value and expressive capacity of his work. Similarly, as in the reconstruction of historical works, the artist is fascinated and values the meticulous research that goes “beyond the photograph”.
Through painting the “Butte of Montmartre” and being able to capture every corner, every object and creating very fascinating shades, giving prestige to walls, pavings and taking into consideration the atmospherical perceptions …..  this very demanding work has made it possible to get to know in depth the Place du Tertre, the Rue Norvins,  the Moulin Rouge, the Rue de la Barre ….........  “l'Ambiance Montmartroise” outside France and Italy.  To love Montmartre is like loving the historical Cradle of European Culture; at this point it should be mentioned that the artist is President of the European Cavalier Association.  In 2022 he was nominated a member of the Historical Republic of Montmartre and was awarded the title “Ambassador of Dreams”.   Also for this reason the artist wants to be able to do and say as much as he can for the République de Montmartre
